Mica began her dance training in the Austin, TX area at the age of 8. She grew up performing and training on Premiere Dance Center’s competitive team, and also began her instructing career working with special needs children for 2dance2dream. She continued her training at Hope College, earning a BA in Dance Performance & Choreography. While attending she was a part of H2 Dance Company and toured the Midwest, performing modern and afro-fusion works by Matt Farmer and Crystal Frazier. She also has been able to tap in Chicago Tap Theatre’s holiday show and showcase her choreography at the Centre Du Danse De Marias in Paris, France. Now in Chicago, Mica dances and choreographs for Outlet Dance Company and teaches dancers of all ages in the greater Chicago area.
